Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://teabarhub.com/how-we-research#our-score Empty tea filter bags let you brew loose leaf tea with the convenience of a bag, filling and steeping your own blend without a separate infuser. They are ideal for home tea drinkers who buy loose leaf but want mess-free cleanup or single-serve portability. Look for unbleached, food-safe paper that will not add a papery taste, and a weave fine enough to hold small leaf particles while still letting water flow. Drawstring or fold-over closures keep leaves contained, while heat-seal styles suit larger batches. Check the bag size against your teapot or mug, and favor biodegradable materials if compostability matters. Roomy bags that let leaves expand give the fullest flavor. ## Picks ### 1. 400 Pack Disposable Drawstring Tea Filter Bags, 7 x 9cm Natural Color Unbleached Paper Infuser Our score: 8.6/10 (Fit for the job 9/10 · Features and specs 9/10 · Build and materials 7/10 · Value 9/10) A 400 Pack of 7 x 9cm natural color unbleached paper drawstring tea filter bags for single cups of loose leaf.
