Our score is an editorial rating out of 10 (fit 35%, features 25%, build 20%, value 20%), not a customer rating. Method: https://teabarhub.com/how-we-research#our-score A tea strainer is a small mesh sieve that sits over a cup and catches loose leaves as you pour brewed tea from a pot. It suits home tea drinkers who prefer steeping leaves freely in a pot, then filtering them out at the cup for a clean, sediment-free finish. Unlike an infuser, the strainer never restricts the leaves, so they expand fully for richer extraction. When choosing one, look for fine stainless mesh that stops even small broken leaves, and a rim or hooks that rest securely across different cup and mug widths. A comfortable handle, a drip bowl or stand to hold it between pours, and dishwasher-safe construction all make daily use easier and tidier. ## Picks ### 1.
