What we liked
- + Black ceramic hides small chips and wear better than pale glazes
- + Supports the bamboo chasen so tines keep their curved form
- + Affordable accessory that extends the life of a whisk
Trade-offs
- - Plain listing has no size info for checking fit with wide whisks
- - Glossy black shows water drips and dried powder easily
